EXAMINATIONS:
There will be one midterm and one final exam.
The final exam (20% of the final grade)
will be on December 9th in our usual classroom
usual time.
The final exam will cover the
material associated with chapters 4-6.
The exams will be multiple choice (no partial credit), open book and notes in class tests.
Exam questions test for four levels of understanding: (i) memorization of basic facts, (ii) application of concepts, (iii) ability to generalize and synthesize the ideas studied and (iv) problem solving. These four components to varying degrees will be part of the exams.
The test with answers will be posted on this page after the exam.
